Introduction
September 5, 2004 : Pop Secret 500 at the California Speedway in Fontana, Calif.
It was roughly 110 degrees (130 on the track) and we had about a two-mile trek picking up our tickets and getting to our seats, all the while carrying our loaded coolers, buying programs, missing the national anthem and the engine command (!)
Then about 7-8 flights up to our AMAZING seats which were two sections behind the start/finish line, directly opposite the #29 (yea!), #22 and #88 pits and about 10 rows from the top of the grandstand so we had a complete view of the track.
