Brad Pitt, ever the social activist, says he won't be marrying Angelina Jolie until the restrictions on who can marry whom are dropped.
"Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able," the 42-year-old actor reveals in the October issue of Esquire, on newsstands Sept. 19.
Oh, so the plights of everyone else who cannot be legally married come before his commitment to his own children and their mother? It's great to be so concerned for the rights of others, but something seems a little screwy with this mentality and his priorities, here. You just have to wonder if this is just an "admirable" excuse to keep himself free from certain legal obligations. Given his public track record w/ his former wife, seems like a bit of a copout, at first glance.

(I am being sarcastic here - link does not exist) Visit www.fear_of_commitment/Best_excuses_ever_told.org for the latest BS from Brad! Brad needs to put Angolina in a Melissa Ethridge video like all the women he has boinked before her, and shut up.

I admire Brad Pitt for his principled stand on this issue. Certainly many children of gay citizens are penalized because their parents are not permitted to legally recognize their commitment. I agree with Lori on one point: "it's great to be so concerned for the rights of others".
That said, I'm puzzled by her reference to "legal obligations". Is she actually concerned that the Pitt children might suffer financially? Is that what she means by "legal obligations"? Something seems a little screwy with this mentality.
