Moze

I could be wrong, but isn't this tantamount to throwing Iran's hat into the jihadi's ring?

I don't really get that, given Iran is 89% Shia... given developments in Iraq...

How is Ahmadinejad serving Iran's interest by calling for Israel to be "wiped off the map"?

Has Iran become the de facto haven of so many radical Islamists that the government feels it must assume a "sympathetic posture"?

It just doesn't make sense... Ahmadinejad's got Turkey to the North, which is on the cusp of gaining entry into the European Union... a ratified Constitution in Iraq... Afghanistan and Pakistan to the east... Turkmenistan, Armenia, and Azerbaijan are the only neighbors not undergoing signifcant change.

Of the choices available to him, I think Ahmadinejad has chosen foolishly...

Cheers,

If the madman Mahmoud isn't made to step down then we should kick them the hell out. If Sharon had said something similar there would have been hell to pay.

I still can not see why Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has not had a U.S. arrest warrant issued against him! I have studied the photos of the terrorist in the Iran hostage take over of the U.S. Embassy in Iran. Actual hostages have sworn that he is the same man. That is him no shadow of a doubt. Now he is their president?? WTF

In relation to the U.N. why would anybody give any credence to an organization that allows an Islamofascist country to remain a member, Iran should have been expelled years ago. A spineless, ineffectual debate club is what the U.N. now is.
