They make exceptions, of course, for this...
a) if they can use a religion against a non-liberal court nomination; or
b) if the religion is secularism, in which case they find that religion and government should co-exist.

Hypocrite gained widespread usage in our language as a religious term. Liberals are only furthering the word's scope.
