Militants Slaughter 11 Iraqi Soldiers
A little assistance for the media in defining this...
- mil·i·tant
- A fighting, warring, or aggressive person or party.
- ter·ror·ist
- One that engages in acts or an act of terrorism.
- ter·ror·ism
- The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.
At least they got the slaughter part right.
Terrorism def'n - is the only difference between that and war the use of the term unlawful? And what side gets to proclaim whether what they are doing is lawful or not?

So, if the UN declares that the US-led action in Iraq took place under false pretenses and is therefore illeagal, is the US guilty of terrorism? Damn right they are, but I'm sure there will be a lot of bluster and finger pointing to cover up this obvious fact
