It seems that Pamela Anderson got her feathers ruffled by Dale Jr.'s Chance 2 Motorsports sponsorship deal with KFC, Taco Bell and Long John Silvers. I'm sure Dale Jr. wasn't too upset to receive a personal letter from Anderson--just not to sure he's thrilled about the subject...
"Little chickens need a big man like Dale to stick up for them!" and writes in her letter to Earnhardt, "When you take a multimillion-dollar endorsement from a company, you must also take some responsibility for the company’s practices. … You may not realize that KFC allows its suppliers to sear the beaks off baby birds without painkillers, breed and drug chickens to grow so quickly that they spend their entire lives crippled and suffering, and scald chickens to death in feather-removal tanks in the slaughterhouse while they are still fully conscious and able to feel pain. Despite the recommendations of members of its own animal-welfare advisory panel, KFC has refused to implement a simple four-point plan that would eliminate these and other abuses and that PETA has proved will actually save the company money in the long run."Like he has time to pick up another cause... and if he did, this just might not be it. (I AM NOT condoning KFC's actions so don't anybody send me any
But that's not to say Dale Jr. doesn't care about a worthwhile cause. He is involved in this...
The Dale Earnhardt Foundation
Speedway Children's Charities
Victory Junction Gang
And plenty of more with this...
The Dale Jr. Pit Board Charity
You can get involved in this...

August 20, 2004 (have I mentioned my birthday is coming?) marks the inaugural NASCAR Day. NASCAR Day is a one-day celebration of the NASCAR spirit. It's a chance for fans across the country to show their support for the sport they love and help worthwhile causes like the Victory Junction Gang Camp, the designated charity of NASCAR Day 2004.
Pamela Anderson, LOL. I love her mentioning the terrorist supporting PETA as a source for information.

"You may not realize that KFC allows its suppliers to sear the beaks off baby birds without painkillers..."
ROFL...
I always take pain killers before searing the beaks off of baby birds...
Ohhh, so that's where "nuggets" come from...
Eeey Gads, Pam, there's got to be a better way to spend your time.
Cheers,

"I am Moopheus" ... heh.
Pam obviously has nothing else to do. While Little E is busy trying to help humans overcome their obstacles, she's more worried about an animal that actually outnumbers us. Nice.

Pamela need to be thinking of her own life instead of butting into Dale Jr's.
