Aoki and Ming Lee walk the runway
Child - More than 500 people made their destination Child's fashion show on February 9, 2007. In the magazine's largest fashion show yet and the only children's show under the tents at Bryant Park during Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek in New York City, 66 children, including the sons and daughters of celebrities and designers, flaunted this fall's hottest styles for kids, which included rhinestone-studded hoodies, animal-print tunics with leggings, and bubble skirts. Accessories like decorative hats and ballet slippers covered in gold glitter also made their mark on the runway.

The children of celebrities Sean Combs, 50 Cent, and George Lopez modeled looks from Sean John Boys by Fishman Tobin, G Unit, and Hilary Duff. Cody and Aliana Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's siblings, sported designs by GapKids and Tibi. Designers Kimora Lee Simmons, Cynthia Rowley, Laura Bennett, and Catherine Malandrino not only designed clothing for the show, but their kids walked the runway in their moms' designs. Kimora Lee Simmons's daughters Ming Lee and Aoki Lee wore black and red charmeuse dresses by Baby Phat Girlz. Malandrino's son, Oscar, showed off a black leather, studded motorcycle jacket with a vintage-inspired shirt and studded denim jeans. Other designs included a navy pea coat over a striped turtleneck and knickers by Jacadi, a green moirw taffeta jumper by Simonetta, and a graffiti-print dress from Cakewalk.
The styles showed off the many colors of children's fashion: The "Naturals" portion included animal prints and tans; blues, greens, and reds followed. The "Born to be Wild" segment included lots of denim, leather jackets and embroidered embellishments. The show ended on a golden note-a gold sequin tunic by Nicole Miller and a gold empire dress by Cynthia Rowley.
