After a four-month engagement, NASCAR Busch Series driver Burney Lamar and Supermodel Niki Taylor have wed.
On Wednesday, Dec. 27, the couple was married in front of 60 guests at the Grande Colonial Hotel in La Jolla, Calif.
The bride wore a Vera Wang couture gown. Izzy Lamar, father of the groom served as Best Man while Niki's sister, Joelle Bolline, was her matron of honor. Niki's niece was the flower girl and her sons, Jake and Hunter, were also in the bridal party. Pastor Rob Taylor of Calvary Chapel Brentwood, where the couple attends church, officiated.
The newlywed's first dance was to Jack Johnson's "Better Together."
At the reception, guests were served a five-course lunch including squash soup, pear and apple organic greens, potato gnocchi with wild mushrooms, steak and lobster.
For desert? Four-layer chocolate mousse wedding cake from La Jolla's own Michelle Coulon.
The marriage is Burney's first and Niki's second. She was previously married to arena football player Matt Martinez, the father of her children, for two years.
Don't leave empty handed
Attendees received a tote away gift bag that included Kanebo beauty products, Godiva truffles, and a candle pearl stationery from The Dotted Line in Nashville.
