Model and performer Aniesa Scott will join her fiancé, part-time IRL and NASCAR Busch Series driver Larry Foyt, as a co-host and lifestyles trainer on the upcoming reality series "Racin' For A Livin'." The couple joins an all-star veteran racing cast including A.J. Foyt, Harry Gant, Ernie Irvan, Derrick Cope and Robert Pressley and guest star drivers Jeremy Mayfield, Sterling Marlin, Kenny Wallace, Mike Wallace and A.J. Foyt IV.
"Racin' for a Livin'" is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to receive seven fully-sponsored rides in a NASCAR Busch Series car in the 2007 season. Created by veteran open-wheel racer Jerry VanDenHul, the series will kick-off using direct internet voting to select the twelve participants. Voters can view the potential rookie drivers, learn about their background and watch internet video to learn why they are chasing their dreams of NASCAR glory.
"Racin' for a Livin'" will feature top broadcasters, drivers, and crew chiefs as the judges when the driving competition begins with the top twelve rookies. Featuring some of the most well-respected tracks in the country, "Racin' for a Livin'" will put these rookies in pressure-packed situations, and one driver will be eliminated in each episode.
The off-track poise of the rookies will also be tested with a variety of interesting encounters with top celebrities, racing legends, and current NASCAR drivers. Judging will be on driving ability, public appearance, and personality. Internet users will have a say in who stays and who goes.
The top-50 finalists have been selected and voting is underway to select the final 12 to compete in the series. Rookie leaderboard
Network television negotiations are in progress, with national primetime exposure for all participants, win or lose. The entire series will also be broadcast on RacinforaLivin.com using the latest in internet television technology.
