MID-WEEK NUPTIALS, HONEYMOON IN MARTINSVILLE
Nicole Lunders is the most-searched NASCAR WAG this week, presumably due to all the articles that mention hers and Greg Biffle's wedding this Wednesday.
Quoting this...
Greg: "I'm looking forward to it. It's been a long three or four months planning it, although I have to admit I haven't planned much of it. But it's been a topic, having to make decisions and doing this and that."
As for the honeymoon: "Martinsville hot dogs. Maybe make a margarita on the bus."

LOVE & MARRIAGE
Quoting the Crew Chiefs on this...
"I enjoy life, I guess," [Steve] Letarte said, his tone almost apologetic. "I have kids, I have family, I have things. Chad has -- man! This trailer, this track, this is him."
"It's what I do," Knaus said of his marriage to racing. "Spending quality time at home with family and stuff -- at this point in my life, that doesn't rank as high as my occupation does."

Sherry Hopes To Relieve Stress
Sherry Pollex, daughter of ppc Racing's Greg Pollex and girlfriend of NASCAR Nextel Cup driver Martin Truex Jr. recently fulfilled a lifelong dream when she opened a designer clothing store in Mooresville, N.C.
Lavendar Boutique, the first and only upscale boutique on the Mooresville Town Square, is designed to meet growing demands for women's designer apparel in the small racing community. The name of the store is inspired by the essential oil of lavender, which is known for its stress-relieving properties. Sherry hopes Lavendar will also be a stress-relieving property.
Martin and Sherry have also launched a charitable foundation. The Martin Truex Jr. Foundation's first fund-raising campaign is 'Lil Bears for 'Lil Kids, which is designed to provide stuffed animals to Dove House, a Statesville-based, non-profit organization that helps sexually abused children in Iredell, Catawba and Alexander counties. To date, the foundation has donated 827 stuffed animals. The Foundation has also donated money to support Speedway Children's Charities in other race markets.
Emily Goes Three Wide
Emily Maynard has been named the new host for Fox's "Three Wide Life," a NASCAR-themed program that examines life inside the garage, targeting the hard-core race fan. TWL is meant not only to entertain race fans, but also to educate new viewers about the drivers, the business and people behind the teams.
The syndicated series, created and produced by Charlotte-based agency Leverage Sports, premiered in March with a soft launch to multiple markets airing on various Fox, ABC and The CW affiliates. A full launch is scheduled for early 2008. Syndication is expected to reach 70 percent of the nation's markets this fall -- 85 percent next year.
