- Tony Stewart won the Nextel Prelude to a Dream last night at Eldora Speedway and climbed the catch fence to claim his first victory as track owner. He was joined in victory lane by Misses Eldora Speedway Tiffany Wamhoff and Sarah Linhardt.
Evernham Motorsports development driver Anthony Foyt IV, who hasn't raced since being sidelined earlier this season by Braun Racing, has been pegged by Andretti Green to run in the season's final Indy race at Chicagoland filling in for injured driver Dario Franchitti. This will be his first time not driving for and competing against his grandfather's team in IRL.
