Thayer Lavielle joins JR Motorsports (JRM) as Vice President of Marketing and Brand Development for the North Carolina motor sports team. Lavielle will be directing the branding and marketing initiatives for all of JRM, which entail two NASCAR Busch Series teams, one USAR Hooters Pro Cup team and three Late Model racing programs, as well as, developing marketing strategies for the Dale Jr. brand and his production company, Hammer Head Entertainment.
Lavielle has spent the last seven years with L'OREAL USA in their New York City office, where she was an Assistant Vice President. Her experience with L'OREAL included managing the European Designer Fragrances business, part of the Luxury Products Division, where she created the highly successful re-launch of Drakkar Noir by aligning the brand with Dale Jr. in 2002. In her most recent position, she was responsible for the creation and implementation of all of Lancôme’s promotional programs, which included the overall vision for Special Events and Strategic programs as well as gift-with-purchase, purchase-with-purchase programs and in-store events.

Lavielle will be working out of JR Motorsports headquarters in Mooresville, NC and begins her tenure July 1st. She is looking forward to her new position.
