Aniesa Scott is the former fiancée of IRL and NASCAR Busch Series driver Larry Foyt.
The two met in Tampa, Fla. and have been a couple for almost a year. On Nov. 14, 2005, at an intimate dinner in the Skyloft Suite at the MGM Grand in Vegas, Larry had an engagement ring presented to Aniesa by a butler on a silver tray with roses. She happily accepted his proposal. "It has been the happiest, most fulfilling year of my life," she says.
This year didn't end quite as happily for the couple as it begun. They decided to part ways prior to walking down the aisle.
Aniesa is a working model and actress and an aspiring singer. She is also a professionally trained dancer in ballet, jazz, modern and hip hop. Last summer, she was selected for participation in the dance program at the Broadway Dance Center and in August, she competed The 9th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts 2005 Competition (aka the "Talent Olympics"). Aniesa qualified in 21 categories of this invitation only event, including acting, dance, modeling and singing. She garnered several medals including a gold, five silver and a bronze.
A lifelong performer, she landed her first role as a baby in a commercial for Best Buy. By the age of nine, she had secured her first leading role in a major production at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center as Puck in "A Midsummer Night's Dream." By the time she turned 10, she was on a weekly television show on WKDZ-TV. At thirteen, she landed the serious dancing role of Sugar Plum Fairy in West Florida's Ballet "The Nutcracker," a role she held for three years.
By 15, she was a professional choreographer and hip-hop dance instructor. She also took up cheerleading for four years and was a medal-winning competitor.
She attended Jacksonville University as a dance major and has participated in prestigious dance programs such as the Dance Space Summer Intensive in New York City, one of 40 students chosen out of 1,000. She has also volunteered several of her summers to performance camps to encourage children to reach for their dreams.
Her television credits include several episodes of Second Noah as a lead with James Marsden and Daniel Hugh Kelly along with guest spots on numerous other shows. She has performed in over 220 stage productions including "Alice in Wonderland" (Alice), "Peter Pan" (Peter), "Chicago" (murderous), "Sweet Charity" (Ursula), "The Wizard of Oz" (Scarecrow & TinMan), "Sleeping Beauty" (Evil Fairy) and "Carousel" (Louise), which earned her The James Lary Award nomination.
Aniesa's hobbies and interests include tennis, skiing, and watching football, racing, and any type of extreme sport.
She is also very involved with giving to those in need and volunteers her time to the Los Angeles Regional FoodBank and the Ronald Mcdonald House.
