Jocelyn Crafton is the wife of NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Matt Crafton, who returns to the Kevin Harvick, Inc. #6 truck in 2006.
Matt met Jocelyn Janusiewicz in his hometown of Tulare, Calif., in March of 1999. They were friends at first but after hanging out for a few months (and Matt became available) they took a shot at a relationship. When Matt got the offer to drive the NCTS #88 with SealMaster Racing in Sandusky, Ohio for the 2001 season, Jocelyn made the move with him. They were married in Shoreline Park on Lake Erie on Oct. 25, 2002.
Jocelyn was born in Anchorage, Alaska on Mar. 10, 1981 and has two brothers and a sister. Her family moved around a lot and finally settled in Tulare, Calif.
An aspiring model and performer from an early age, Jocelyn's first role was as Goldilocks in the fifth grade and in the sixth, she was first runner up in a local "Model of the Year" contest. She attended Tulare Union High and won Best Actress her freshman year. On stage, she has performed in "Grease," "12 Angry Men" and "Damn Yankees." She has also done commercials and voice over work and has participated in several modeling and acting workshops. In 2002, she joined Millenium Model Management.
Jocelyn has also taken her turn behind the wheel, debuting in a hobby stock car for SealMaster's Employee Appreciation Night at Sandusky Speedway on Sept. 7, 2002.
Currently, she is working full-time and in school studying to be a forensic scientist. Her hobbies include reading (she's read every one of Patricia Cornwell's forensic pathologist Kay Scarpetta series books), scuba diving and swimming.
Matt and Jocelyn currently reside in Kernersville, N.C. with their 125-pound bullmastiff, Solo.
