NASCAR Nextel Cup driver Jason Leffler and Alison Courtney East were married in Hawaii on Dec. 11, 2001. The couple has one child, Charlie Dean, born Aug. 16, 2007.
Alison was born into a racing family. She is the daughter of open-wheel chassis builder and USAC team owner, Bob East, well known in the racing world for his Beast Midget chassis design. Brother Bobby is a USAC driver who holds the record for youngest National Midget champion. Sister Amy is an ESPN pit reporter and is married to NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Terry Cook.
The Lefflers and their two yellow labs, Daphne and Chloe, currently reside in Mooresville, N.C.
