Last week, the Globe tabloid reported that it had learned of "startling new evidence" being examined by the grand jury charged with probing Chandra Levy's death. The tabloid claimed that Levy rode a bicycle that she borrowed from Congressman Gary Condit to Washington's Rock Creek Park, where her body was later discovered.
Three months after Levy's disappearance, I developed an interest in the case after watching Condit's daughter, Cadee, speak on Larry King Live. Although Levy's disappearance was intriguing, what fascinated me even more was the tabloids' coverage of the case and particularly what Cadee Condit had to say about it.
