Spreading violence by sword is unreasonable to this...

Pope Benedict XVI has spoken and something he said that's been known for centuries by millions worldwide made Muslims go out in the streets and burn shit up::

Here is an excerpt:

In the seventh conversation edited by Professor Khoury, the [Byzantine emperor Manuel II Paleologus] touches on the theme of the jihad (holy war). The emperor must have known that surah 2, 256 reads: There is no compulsion in religion. It is one of the suras of the early period, when Mohammed was still powerless and under threat.

But naturally the emperor also knew the instructions, developed later and recorded in the Qur’an, concerning holy war. Without descending to details, such as the difference in treatment accorded to those who have the “Book” and the “infidels,” he turns to his interlocutor somewhat brusquely with the central question on the relationship between religion and violence in general, in these words:

Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.

The emperor goes on to explain in detail the reasons why spreading the faith through violence is something unreasonable. Violence is incompatible with the nature of God and the nature of the soul.

Muslims are demanding an apology labeling the Pope's remarks as medieval and absurd.

Medieval? Fair enough. The information he shared has been known that long and was quoted from an old text. Absurd?  Hardly. It's no secret to anyone who's studied religion and/or history that Islam has spread their faith by the sword for centuries and continues to do so today. An apology? Piss off. Shouldn't they be the ones apologizing?

I find it more absurd and unreasonable that college age Muslims are burning shit up in the streets in this day and age.  Did they learn that at school or home or in the mosque? And is that all the farther they've come?

So much for reconciling faith and reason.

Muslims Suck

It appears that no one can comment or even quote anything about Islam.......God help them all.

"Apologise? Piss Off" echoing my sentiments entirely.
So whats with all this profuse itching of bottoms in the western world? So we dont offend them? So they dont bomb us? or threaten us from the rat infested slums of Karachi?
Problem is they will and they do.

We need to help them realise their prophecy. Live by the sword die by the sword. Sooner we nuke the dissenting fuckers the better

"Sooner we nuke the dissenting fuckers the better"

You know, that's about it. I've had it up to here with fucking Muslims. We should build a huge dome over the middle east and let the barbarians thunderdome themselves into "paradise". Just shut the hell up and leave us the fuck alone.

BTW, fuckmulims.com and fuckislam.com are both available for a new blog or two!
