One Bill Illegal Gil proposes we grant this...

CALIFORNIANS FOR POPULATION STABILIZATION, JAN. 13, 2006 - It's Back! California Driver's License Bill Re-introduced!  Despite six failed attempts over the past seven years, "One Bill Gil" Cedillo has re-introduced legislation to give driver's licenses to illegal aliens. The new legislation, SB 1160, is identical to last year's SB 60, which Gov. Schwarzenegger vetoed in October.

Schwarzenegger's office has indicated that it still believes issuing the licenses would be premature because the state is awaiting federal regulations on how to comply with the Real ID Act Congress approved.

This annual charade in Sacramento is becoming embarrassing. CAPS will again testify in the Capitol hearings that Californians are opposed to illegal immigration and giving driver's licenses to illegal aliens. You can start the ball rolling by contacting your Senator in Sacramento.
