No legal reason to license this...
There is no good reason--legal or otherwise--to license illegal aliens. Not one.
We need to put them on a plane home, not behind the wheel of a car on our already overcrowded roads.
Californians need to take immediate action on this...
SB 60 Driver's License Bill For Illegals Now In Assembly

Thwarted by the Real ID Act that passed Congress, Sen. Gil Cedillo's SB 60 will require the DMV to make an alternative license available to illegal aliens. It will be valid for driving but not for federal identification or other official purposes.
The Real ID Act prohibits state licenses and ID's from being used for federal purposes, such as boarding a commercial flight, unless the state ascertains that the applicant is legally in the United States. While Congress has eliminated one of the most dangerous aspects of giving licenses to those who break our laws, it still makes no sense for California to encourage and facilitate more illegal immigration by issuing these new licenses.
CAPS was instrumental in passing SB 976 in 1993 to prevent the issuance of licenses to those who have deliberately broken our immigration laws. Currently, California does not give licenses to illegal aliens, and the Real ID Act does not require that states do so. Let's not give up this hard-won gain.

Your influence is urgently needed in California.
Our Senate passed SB-60, the bill to allow driver's licenses for illegal aliens. It will probably pass in the Assembly as well.
We can't let the agenda of a few MEChAztlanistas in California government undermine our country's national security and undo the recent progress of the Real ID act.
Please, would you reach out to our Governor and encourage him to veto this bill if it should pass? There is simply no excuse for this legislation that would encourage even more illegal immigration.

Why give them a license when we know damn well they don't have insurance? Also, we should be billing Mexico for every cent we spend on these criminals. I'm sure Vinnie the Fox has stolen more than enough from his people to pay the tab.

Not license. Tag 'em... but only release 'em in their own native habitat. Radio markers might help track 'em on their next attempted entry, whereupon they could be declared legal game.
(Well, maybe not that last part. Maybe.)
