Put the troops on the border of this...

From the inbox of this...

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY (greater detail below): The House of Representatives just passed an amendment by Representative Virgil Goode that would authorize the Secretary of Defense to assign members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps to assist the Department of Homeland Security in the performance of border protection functions.

Now, the battle moves to the Senate where, year after year, Senate conferees have killed our Troops on the Border legislation.  Hopefully, the composition of the 109th Senate is better than those in recent history, and our emails will find one or two Senators with the brains, courage and integrity to serve their country and not their own selfish interests.

Please send your email letters to your two U.S. Senators, demanding their support troops on our borders NOW!

Dear Friend:

The Minuteman Project proved that all we need to stop illegal migration is to put people on the border.  It is foolhardy, if not insane, to be fighting a war against international terrorism while our borders are left wide open to the extent that 5-10,000 illegal aliens can cross our borders daily.

If 5-10,000 Mexican peasants can cross our borders at will, how difficult do you think it is for a few hundred highly trained terrorists to use those same migrant pathways to sneak into our country?  We need to seal our borders now, before anymore terrorists enter our country and bring death and destruction to our nation, again.

Throughout the world, American soldiers have rooted out terrorism, maintained the peace and controlled disputed borders. In Haiti, Bosnia and the Middle East, American peace keepers have demonstrated, not just their courage, but their expertise in handling difficult situations.

Wherever there is a problem, American soldiers can be relied upon to get the job done -- except here, on America's own borders. Why is that?

Every year, our border crisis worsens. First, it was drugs. Then disease. Then, it was illegal aliens, crossing by the hundreds and then by the millions. And now, terrorists are crossing our borders, determined to rain more death and destruction down upon us.

If there were ever a time for the United States to put troops on the border, this is it! We are in a state of war. And we are fighting enemies who have brought the battle to our shores. That is why I am so pleased to report that, once again, our friend Congressman Virgil Goode has managed to get his Troops on the Border bill passed, as an amendment, to H.R.1815, a Department of Defense authorization bill.

Despite the fact that we now have a new Cabinet-level Department of Homeland Security and their employees at our nation's airports do a terrific job harassing travelers; our borders are still wide open.

Of all the things our government could do to secure our nation, putting troops at our borders would be one of the least costly, most effective and cause the least interruption of American's daily lives.

Will you help me convince the Senate that the American people support their efforts to regain control of our borders?

They will get that message clearly when they start to receive thousands of email letters like the one I have attached to this alert, urging them to support Rep. Goode's Troops on the Border amendment or to sponsor an identical Senate version of the Goode bill (H.R.1986).

Our immigration problems, our drug problems and the threat of terrorists crossing our unguarded borders could all be solved overnight if our troops were allowed to assist the Border Patrol in securing our border from these threats.

The solution is at hand. All we have to do is convince the Senate to take action.

As you might imagine, there are thousands of bills all vying for the attention of each Senator.  And the ones that get to the top of the pile are the ones that have the most support. A good indication of mass support are the number of emails landing on their desks.

Until we have secured our borders against the flow of drugs, disease, illegal migration and terrorism, America will continue face an uncertain future and you and your loved ones will remain vulnerable to multiple threats.

So please send your email today.

And if you want to do even more, consider joining Border Control. Just Click on Join Now! on the left side of your screen and help us to establish sensible and fair immigration policies while we regain control of our borders.

Thank You for your help!

Until we figure out what we're doing in the way of large scale reform, this is a good first step.  The next would be to encourage your representative to co-sponsor Congressman Gresham Barrett's S.A.F.E.R. Act (Securing America’s Future through Enforcing Reform Act of 2005)

I've already sent my letter off to Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-CA), but since he favors illegal immigration and everything that goes along with it, I'm not that hopeful.  In fact, I am beginning to no longer wonder if Becerra's support of such racist Anti-American policy is related to his Hispanic background and commitment to illegal immigrants undocuments workers.

I have no problem with the legislation, but it is a lot of blowing. To begin with authorization isn't needed. In fact it is already the job of the national guard if not all of the military to SECURE OUR BORDERS.

I'd write my senators, but I don't see any point in writing to Shmucky Schumer and Hildabeast Clinton.

If they wanna start a round up of illegals, I invite them out here to Suffolk County (Long Island)...I'll be happy to help out!

Thank God for Arnold and the Minutemen. At least there still are folk in America that really want to win the War on Terror. Not surrender - "vigilantes" , my as-!
