Questions raised with the beheading of this...

Cpl. Wassef Ali Hassoun has been beheaded and I have questions about this...
Does the fact that Hassoun was a Marine raise questions about his loyalty to Islam? And does this mean he's considered an infidel deserving of such fate and that the majority of Islam will remain silent against terror even now that one of their own has been beheaded?
Does the fact that Hassoun was a Muslim who reportedly deserted his unit to travel to Lebanon to see his family and wife raise questions about his loyalty to the US and the Marines? Or was it really just an innocent untimely tryst and does his deserter status change now since he was captured and eliminated by the enemy? And will his status in any way affect how the marines feel about this...
Please give me your thoughts on this...

Marine's message to this...
They're really gonna do the military like this...?

The Islamist fanatics consider any Muslim who doesn't follow their own beliefs to be an apostate. Obviously, no one could be a US Marine (unless he was a spy or soemething) and follow their beliefs.

Just out of curiostity, why do you do trackbacks without a recipricol link? I dont delete people's trackbacks but consider it rude when someone trackbacks and does not mention the article they are trackbacking to.

Didn't mean to be rude... when a post inspires me I refer to it with a link in my post and give a trackback assuming I remember each time, which I don't.
If another's post is just related to mine and I think readers might be interested in my post (or in this case able to offer their opinions on my questions) I do a trackback and then usually find it is reciprocated, which of course is most welcomed, and efficient.
Forgive my intrusion if that is not your protocol. I learned this from my fellow bloggers and have found great blogs and new readers in this manner. Please forgive me, but I am also In Search of Uptopia!
Do others have comments on the etiquette of this...?

Thank you, and it's no problem.
