KIMORA Lee Simmons is asking Santa for a special present this Christmas - another baby. The mother of two, who is currently dating Djimon Hounsou, chatted with a camera crew the other day at St. Vincent Hospital, where she brought daughters Ming Lee and Aoki Lee to visit sick children and spread holiday cheer. "They brought gifts and read stories and played," said our spy. "When she was asked what's on her Christmas list, Lee responded, 'A baby!' "

Child - More than 500 people made their destination Child's fashion show on February 9, 2007. In the magazine's largest fashion show yet and the only children's show under the tents at Bryant Park during Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek in New York City, 66 children, including the sons and daughters of celebrities and designers, flaunted this fall's hottest styles for kids, which included rhinestone-studded hoodies, animal-print tunics with leggings, and bubble skirts. Accessories like decorative hats and ballet slippers covered in gold glitter also made their mark on the runway.

The children of celebrities Sean Combs, 50 Cent, and George Lopez modeled looks from Sean John Boys by Fishman Tobin, G Unit, and Hilary Duff. Cody and Aliana Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's siblings, sported designs by GapKids and Tibi. Designers Kimora Lee Simmons, Cynthia Rowley, Laura Bennett, and Catherine Malandrino not only designed clothing for the show, but their kids walked the runway in their moms' designs. Kimora Lee Simmons's daughters Ming Lee and Aoki Lee wore black and red charmeuse dresses by Baby Phat Girlz. Malandrino's son, Oscar, showed off a black leather, studded motorcycle jacket with a vintage-inspired shirt and studded denim jeans. Other designs included a navy pea coat over a striped turtleneck and knickers by Jacadi, a green moirw taffeta jumper by Simonetta, and a graffiti-print dress from Cakewalk.
The styles showed off the many colors of children's fashion: The "Naturals" portion included animal prints and tans; blues, greens, and reds followed. The "Born to be Wild" segment included lots of denim, leather jackets and embroidered embellishments. The show ended on a golden note-a gold sequin tunic by Nicole Miller and a gold empire dress by Cynthia Rowley.

Excerpt from Kittens' turn to catwalk:
In an effort to give parents more options - and turn a bit of the fashion spotlight on children's wear - Child magazine sponsored a runway show Monday evening at Fall 2006 Fashion Week. This was the magazine's second foray under the Bryant Park tents.
Little ones bopped down the runway in happy clothing layered with color and kiddie sophistication. The groupings showcasing fall 2006 looks were separated into five categories: gray, largely comfy matte-jersey clothing; multicolored; green; earth tones; and black-and-white pieces that transition from day into evening and feature Swarovski crystals and faux fur trim. The looks were a mix of contemporary and classic.
Sean Jean, Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons, Jill Stuart, and Main Liner Tory Burch were among the featured designers, which of course helped them build their reputation as lifestyle brands.
For extra-cute appeal, children related to celebrities were among the models, offering a peek into the family life of front-rowers such as Lindsay Lohan and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. The kids of designers Cynthia Rowley and Catherine Malandrino participated, too.
The first to waltz out were little Ming Lee and Aoki Lee Simmons in winter-white outfits that were the epitome of "little girly." Mom and Dad, also known as Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons (she in her trademark high boots), clapped, whistled and gushed as if their kids were the stars of a school play.

Child magazine, the leading parenting resource and authority on children's style, has announced plans to present the first-ever children's runway show to be held during "Olympus Fashion Week" in the Atelier under the 7th on Sixth tents in Bryant Park alongside fashion's other leading names. The presentation will be held Monday, February 7th at 9:00 a.m. and feature looks from the fall/winter 2005 collections of today's hottest names in children's wear, including Tommy Hilfiger, Nicole Miller, Kenneth Cole, Escada, Guess?, Tocca, Roc-A-Wear, Phat Farm Boys, Baby Phat Girlz by Kimora Lee Simmons, Gap Kids, Lucy Sykes Baby, Marie Chantal, Primigi, Calypso, Fishman and Tobin, Marc Ecko and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.
According to Child Editor in Chief Miriam Arond, "Children's fashion has never been recognized in the same way that the adult lines have, and yet, if you look at the clothing that comes out season after season, the designs often rival or even surpasses men's and women's wear lines in terms of creativity, use of color and experimentation. We hope this presentation will finally underscore the talent behind children's wear and show not only fashion reporters, but parents too, that kids fashion can be stylish and fun, not just functional."
Adding to the excitement of Child magazine's runway presentation, produced by Child fashion director, Gay Morris Empson, will be special one-of-a-kind designs created for the show by Nicole Miller, Kenneth Cole and Lucy Sykes. Since no catwalk is truly complete without celebrity models, Child will feature the next wave of fashionistas as guest models, including Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons's daughter Ming Lee, Damon Dash's children Boogie and Ava, as well as Lindsay Lohan's younger siblings, Aliana and Dakota.

Kimora Lee Simmons is no stranger to the fast-paced life. She was a Chanel model by age 13 and now, at 27, is head of Baby Phat, a line of hip-hop glitzwear. She's also the wife of hip-hop media mogul Russell Simmons (co-founder of Def Jam Recordings and CEO of Rush Communications) and the mother of a 2-year-old. We caught up with Simmons two months before she gave birth to Aoki Lee, the couple's second child.
Fit Pregnancy: We hear you're having another daughter.
Kimora Lee Simmons: Yes, I did find out that it was a girl--I'm Mommy in Preparation and need to get the room right, so I had to know if it was going to be dolls or trains.
Aha. Nesting overdrive?
Yes. I nest with catalogs. In the middle of the night, I'm flipping through all of these catalogs, ordering stuff. For the baby's room, for our house, for our office.
Most women are subject to either mood swings or mad nesting. Tell Russell he has a choice between renovation or Hurricane Hormone.
OK, I've got it: "Be happy I'm spending all this money, honey! It could be worse!"
You're known for being a fashion maven, so what are you wearing now?
My own line, but in larger sizes. And Japanese Weekend's sexy black string bikini. I recommend it to all my friends who have big boobs, whether they're pregnant or not.
Have you had any pregnancy body-image issues?
Sometimes I hate wearing makeup because in my regular life, I have to wear makeup all the time. But I found this wonderful lotion that makes your face sort of shimmery. Which is good, because I'm at the stage of pregnancy when I'm not cute anymore.
Come on, you're a goddess.
But I'm big. Russell asked if I wanted to go to the Sex and the City premiere, but I decided against it. Cynthia Nixon and Sarah Jessica Parker are pregnant, but those girls are what we call Little Pregnant. They're at the cute stage, three or four months, so I can't stand next to them.
Have you done the nude photo thing?
I had to, because I did it with my first pregnancy.
Was your labor with Ming Lee difficult?
No, it was really ... pleasant. Is that, like, an oxymoron? Pleasant labor?
Some people might say so.
Well, it was. And I did it all naturally with a nurse, Maureen Tully. Put her name in there. I didn't really scream--I'm more of a deep moaner. And if you can't do it naturally, have an epidural, honey. All you want is a healthy, beautiful baby.
