NASCAR driver Tony Stewart and former girlfriend Krista Dwyer have given up their 3-year-old patas monkey, Mojo, to the Lousville Zoo.
Courier-Journal - When Stewart and Dwyer noticed Mojo maturing and becoming aggressive, they sought help, the zoo said ... Dwyer said saying goodbye to Mojo was the hardest thing she has ever had to do.
Quoting this... "We have to let Mojo grow up and be the best patas monkey he can be and that means being with other patas monkeys. I love Mojo but want people to know that primates and wild animals don't make good pets."

Former Miss Winston Renee White is a current female companion of two-time NASCAR champion Tony Stewart. The two were first spotted by an Answer this... reader having dinner on Lake Norman last October. Their relationship was brought to the attention of race fans Mother's Day weekend when Renee appeared by Tony's side in a victory lane photo celebrating his Nationwide Series win at Darlington Raceway.
Renee, a 1990 graduate of University of North Carolina, Greensboro, served as one of NASCAR's trophy girls in 1991-92, during which time she met and began dating driver Derrike Cope. They were married in 1995 and later divorced in 2004. In 2005, Renee began an on- and off-again relationship with driver Robby Gordon, their latest break up coming in the summer of 2007.
A native of High Point, N.C., Renee still resides in the NASCARolina area. Her birthdate is May 10, 1968.
My favorite Hollywood stunt man, NASCAR driver Stanton Barrett ("Spider Man"), has been keeping himself busy off the track. Check out this behind-the-scenes video of his stunt for the season finale of "Moonlight," airing Friday @ 9pm on CBS.
Race car driver Bobby Hamilton shocked NASCAR fans in 2006 by announcing that he had neck cancer right before his final race. But his wife Lori says that it wasn't his racing that made her husband a true champion. Lori told momlogic.com, “You can win a championship on a race track or you can win a race running it, but when you’re faced with cancer or adversity such as what Bobby was, that’s when you know he’s a true champion. That’s when the courage comes out.”

Q. Is that baby registry I saw on BabysRUs for real? A. Currently awaiting official confirmation of its validity or fraudulence. Stay tuned ... Update: What a surprise ... a fan with too much time on their hands. Hmmm. It seems several NASCAR couples are expecting--unbeknownst to them! I guess fake MySpace profiles got too boring after people stopped paying attention. So how 'bout a baby registry?!

Fact. The girl and the well-groomed Chia pet are apparently incompatible this month.
2. Elliott Sadler is single again.
Fiction. Despite rumors to the contrary, Elliott is not single. He is, however, injured.
3. [Insert cute driver name here]'s girlfriend is pregnant.
Fiction. Again, despite rumors to the contrary, a popular driver and his girlfriend are not expecting. TGOM thinks this rumor stems from a few corn-flakey fans with warped expectations of the female form. A larger-than-size-0 waist does not always add up to an expectant mother.
4. [Insert veteran driver name here]'s ex-girlfriend is pregnant.
TBD. TGOM, et. al. are on bump watch. Some evidence suggests we'll see an uprising, but the jury's still out.
5. Jack Roush still hates Toyota.
DUH.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. thinks the offender should have their hard card taken away, but NASCAR says they won't get involved. Guess they don't always listen to Junior. Michael Waltrip has confessed the "mistake" on behalf of MWR.
