A singer/songwriter, guitar player, band leader and guitar teacher, Sean has been performing music since 1981, when he first tried to play the dobro, for his fourth grade class, in a duo with a drummer friend.
One year later he would pick up the guitar to begin his first Rock band.
Not content with playing his favorite band's songs, Sean started writing songs for the many original bands that would become a recorded legacy of his musical life.
In his early twenties Sean teamed up with lyricist, Corin Raymond to form the songwriting, acoustic duo, The Undesirables. The duo have been writing and performing for over a decade now. Look for the duo in your local coffee houses, pubs, folk clubs and folk festivals promoting their debut album, Summer's Gone.
At thirty-four, his endurance has offered him the opportunity to play with many of his mentors, such as Jeff Healy, Greg Godovitz (of Goddo), Rod Philips (of Lighthouse), Chuck Jackson (of Downchild Blues Band), Robbie Lane (and the Disciples), Jerome Godboo (of The Phantoms), Jack Dekayzer and their sidemen. Currently Sean's all-star, four-piece band features any number of these heavily sought-after players.
Not satisfied with the state of live music offered in bars today, the band performs original compositions as well as classic rock and R&B delivered with more musicality than has been seen in the past twenty years. With sets often up to one hour in length the crowd is guaranteed to get their money’s worth and more.
