People - Springtime will bring a whole new blossom into the home of supermodel Niki Taylor and her NASCAR husband Burney Lamar: They're expecting their first child together, Taylor's rep announced to PEOPLE Thursday.
"Burney and I are very excited with this stage of our lives," says Taylor, who is due in March. "We're thrilled."

"I don't know if you really know what to expect. You know, I think that the whole thing is overwhelming from the moment that you see your first sonogram, I think that it's just an experience that you can't describe until you go through it, and then all of a sudden when the baby is born, you know, that emotion and that feeling that you get, responsibility and being proud and excited, you know, just there are not words that really describe it. And then you sort of get initiated into a club. It's an elite club and only people who are parents can understand it and are a part of it, and it's very special. It's a lot of hard work.
"I have a whole new appreciation for my parents and all of the parents that are out there because even the luxuries that I'm able to have, it is one of the toughest things. It's the toughest thing that I have ever been a part of, but at the same time, the most gratifying and exciting thing I've ever been a part of."
Sam Hornish Jr. and Jason Leffler are also celebrating Father's Day as first-time dads this year.
For the past few months, the NASCAR garage and internet message boards have been ripe with speculation that the girlfriends, both Arizona natives, of two of the NASCAR's most eligible bachelors are pregnant. Both unmarried Sprint Cup Series drivers were the subject of previous FAQs.

A. Yes. After months of rampant internet rumors (and persistent inquiries from a nosy gossip blogger?) Casey acknowledged publicly today that he is expecting to become a first-time father.
Q. Is it true about Robby Gordon and Sarah Wolterman? Are they execting as well?
A. There has been no official confirmation, but TGOM has confirmed that Sarah is pregnant. Sources say she has relocated to NASCARolina to be closer to
Robby for the impending birth this summer (due date unknown). Please note that authorized representatives were afforded the opportunity but declined to comment.
Congratulations to Penske Racing driver Sam Hornish Jr. and wife Crystal, who welcomed their first child this morning. Addison Faith Hornish was born at 6:24 a.m. on Monday, February 4th. Baby Addison weighs 7lbs 2oz. and measures 18 inches. Both mom and baby are doing well.
Congratulations to Tony Stewart Racing driver Kraig Kinser and wife Danielle on the recent birth of their first son, Kash Nelson.

Baby Names Update: Sam and Crystal Hornish, whose baby is due on February 10 -- a.k.a. Daytona 500 Bud Pole Qualifying Day -- finally decided on Addison if it's a girl. They had previously announced that if a boy, he will be named Sam Hornish III.
