Elliott: "I remember seeing [Lisa] and thinking 'wow, she's really beautiful.' We kind of made eye contact and I got brave enough to talk to her and then I asked her out. I don't know what she saw in me, but she said yes."
In 2001, The couple became engaged four years to the day of their first meeting.
Elliott: "I just got down on one knee and did the gentleman thing like you're supposed to do -- if I didn't do that, my momma would have killed me. We were both shaking right there. That's the most nervous I've ever been. Qualifying and all, it's not a problem anymore after going through that."
Lisa and Elliott split up a few years ago and never married but still date and remain friends.
In 2004, Lisa was a cheerleader with the Carolina Panthers TopCats. She holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Tennessee and works as a pharmaceutical sales representative. She is the dauther of Michael and Mary Sue Tollett of Crossville, Tenn., and she has a twin sister, Lori Tollett White, a former girlfriend of Dale Earnhardt Jr. Their birthdate is Jan. 22, 1977.
