NASCAR fans have a reason to turn into reality TV this mid-season -- either out of genuine interest ... or in hopes of seeing a trainwreck.
The CW has announced the contestants of America's Next Top Model Cycle 12 and there is a familiar face among them:
International supermodel Paulina Porizkova has joined "America's Next Top Model" cycle 10 as a new panel judge, where she will conduct regular weekly evaluations of top model participants.

Ken Mok, Executive Producer: "We are thrilled to have Paulina as a part of this cycle's judging panel. The show and participants will benefit a great deal from her vast modeling knowledge and expertise."
Porizkova was chosen twice by People magazine as one of the Fifty Most Beautiful People in the world, in 1990 and 1992. Harper's Bazaar magazine named her one of its ten most beautiful women in 1992. American Photo magazine in its first issue declared her to be the model of the 1980s. Porizkova has graced the covers of hundreds of magazines worldwide for more than two decades, including appearances on Vogue, ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, Self, Cosmopolitan and Glamour. She began modeling at the age of 15 and quickly rose to the top of her profession.
The judging panel for cycle 10 will again be led by Tyra Banks and will also include runway expert J. Alexander and renowned fashion photographer Nigel Barker. As always, special guest judges will appear to critique within his or her area of expertise.
Q. Who won America's next top model?
A. CariDee English, a photographer from Fargo, N.D., was crowned America's Next Top Model in the finale of the seventh cycle of The CW's hit dramality series.
The three remaining girls participated in a national television commercial and photo shoot for CoverGirl's Outlast Double Lip Shine. The next day, the finalists faced the judges for the 11th elimination of the competition. While the judges were pleased with all of the girls' performances in the commercial, they thought CariDee showed the most personality. The judges decided that while Eugena had a natural beauty, Melrose showed more passion and drive, thus eliminating Eugena from the competition.
As finalists, CariDee and Melrose conducted a photo shoot for Seventeen magazine. Editor-in-Chief Atoosa Rubenstein was impressed with both girls, however she noted that CariDee had improved the most since the beginning of the season. "CariDee is more than just a pretty face. I feel like she's a strong girl," Atoosa said.
The following day, CariDee and Melrose faced off against each other in a theatrical fashion runway show by designers Victorio and Lucchino. The girls portrayed ghostly brides and, at one point, had to stare each other down on the runway. "It's the battle of the blondes," CariDee said.
During the final elimination, the judges considered the runway performances from the final runway challenge, as well as each girl's photos and their overall performance throughout the competition. The judges agreed that Melrose was stronger in her runway walk, but CariDee's exquisite CoverGirl photo and her exuberant personality would be embraced by the fashion world.

Adrianne Curry (ANTM 1) is engaged to be married to Christopher Knight (a.k.a. "Peter Brady"). The two met when both appeared on VH1's "The Surreal Life 4." Their relationship was chronicled on "My Fair Brady" and during the last episode he proposed. The couple returns to VH1 on "My Fair Brady: We're Getting Married," which promises to capture all the challenges of planning a traditional wedding with the most untraditional couple. The sneak preview begins May 22 on VSPOT and the series premieres May 29 at 9:00PM.
Earlier this year, Adrianne appeared on the cover of Playboy and received $1,000,000 for her nude pictorial. She was also in A&E's "Playboy's Celebrity Centerfolds." She has modeled for Stuff, People, Maxim, Marie Claire, Lucky, Macy's, and Merit Diamonds. She was also in MTV's "Meet the Barkers" and was a co-host on GSN's "Ballbreakers." More at Wikipedia.
Yoanna House (ANTM 2) has been selected by The CW, the new 5th broadcast network, as the face of their new media campaign. She will appear in promos on air, online and on wireless platforms to help viewers navigate the network's agressive digital programming schedule. Yoanna appeared on stage at Madison Square Garden today with ANTM creator Tyra Banks and Danielle Evans (ANTM 6) as part of The CW's upfront presentation. The CW launches this fall and "America's Next Top Model" returns for a new season on Wednesdays at 8:00PM.
Eva Pigford (ANTM 3) shot a pilot, "The Wedding Album," for FOX this spring. The drama, based on a wedding photographer and his assistant who shoot the weddings of NYCs elite while searching for romance in their own lives, has been in development for five years and has been picked up for midseason. Recently, Eva hosted a fashion show at The Fifth Annual Pantene Total You Tour when it stopped in Charlotte last week.
Naima Mora (ANTM 4), who was nominated for the PETA's fifth annual "World's Sexiest Vegetarians," continues to model for Cover Girl and magazines and recently appeared in a two-page spread in the March issue of Elle magazine, photographed by Gilles Bensimon. She has walked the runway in several fashion shows, including Christopher Deane Spring 2006 Collection, Carlos Miele Fashion Show,
Walmart and ELLEgirl Presents Dare To Be You Spring 2006, Hot 97's
Third Annual Full Frontal Hip Hop Fashion Show 2006 and Alice &
Olivia Fashion Show 2006. She has also filmed a role in the upcoming "Sarbane's Oxley," which does not yet have a release date.
Most recently, Naima made an appearance in several gossip columns after being spotted canoodling with the soon to be ex-Mr. Kimora Lee Simmons, Russell, at a party. Mr. Simmons denies a n intimate relationship.
Nicole Linkletter (ANTM 5) recently shot her first couture spread for Elle magazine in France and recently graced the cover of Women's Health & Fitness Magazine (March), and Lemonade Magazine (April)." Nicole also participated in the Miss America 2006 pagaent as a celebrity judge and walked the runway in the Alice & Olivia Fashion Show 2006.

A. The Cycle 6 finale of "America's Next Top Model" is Wednesday, May 17 (8:00-9:00PM ET/PT) on UPN.
Nicole Linkletter, a 20-year-old student from Grand Forks, N.D., was crowned "America's Next Top Model" in the finale of the fifth cycle of UPN's hit dramality series. She has won the opportunity to be managed by Ford Models and will receive a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl, who will begin running their ad True Blend Powder Foundation featuring Nicole immediately. She will also appear in a fashion spread in Elle magazine, on the cover of ELLEgirl (February) and will be shot by fashion photographer Gilles Gensimon in Paris for an entire year for couture collection photo shoots.
